This striking English china cup and saucer was made by E. Hughes & Co. of Fenton, Staffordshire, England. The set features a richly decorated Imari-inspired floral design in deep cobalt/black, iron red, white and extensive gold gilt, with alternating floral and geometric panels around a scalloped rim. This mark is associated with the company during approximately 1914–1941

Condition: Very good antique condition based on the photographs, with no obvious chips or cracks visible.
