Beautiful vintage glass perfume or scent bottle encased in exceptionally ornate silver-tone floral filigree metalwork. The rectangular glass bottle features an elaborate openwork design of scrolling vines, leaves, flowers and rococo-style flourishes covering nearly the entire body.
The matching glass stopper is particularly attractive, with its upper portion surrounded by complementary pierced floral scrollwork. The stopper retains its long frosted/ground glass plug and appears to fit directly into the substantial glass neck.
The combination of clear glass with a subtle warm or pale-pink cast and richly aged metalwork creates a wonderful antique-inspired appearance. The darkened recesses of the metal contrast beautifully with the raised floral decoration and give the piece considerable visual depth.
