japanese-lustreware-floral-plate-6-porcelain-gilt-japan-vintage-c-1930
Japanese Lustreware Floral Plate 6" Porcelain Gilt Japan Vintage c.1930
This decorative porcelain plate appears to be Japanese lustreware from approximately the 1920s–1930s, featuring a lavender-purple paneled border, iridescent pearl-luster center, stylized gilt floral motif, fine gold scrollwork, and a scalloped rim. The underside is completely unmarked, so I would not attribute it to Noritake or another specific maker without additional evidence.

Very good vintage condition with age-related wear to the gold decoration. Fine crazing is visible in the pearlescent center, along with minor surface wear consistent with age.

- Shape: Round with scalloped rim
- Design style: Art Deco influence / Japanese export lustreware
- Decoration: Lavender-purple paneled border with gold floral scrollwork
- Center motif: Stylized gilt flower and small blossoms
- Center finish: Iridescent pearl / mother-of-pearl style luster
- Trim: Gold gilt rim and radial gold bands
- Material: Porcelain
- Colors: Lavender, purple, ivory, iridescent pearl and gold
- Backstamp: None
- Estimated date: Approximately 1925–1935; c.1930
- Country of origin:Japan
- Intended use: Decorative display, cabinet plate, wall décor or lustreware collection

6" OD
6 oz
SKU 9561
//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0641/6547/8518/files/d18ba59f-0761-4078-b1d2-759da8425999.jpg?v=1791236020
https://templetonantiques.com/products/japanese-lustreware-floral-plate-6-porcelain-gilt-japan-vintage-c-1930
