Ridgways Coaching Days Covered Coffee Pot Treacle Glaze England Antique c1900

Antique Ridgways English pottery covered coffee or hot-water pot from the “Scenes from Coaching Days & Coaching Ways” series. The tall amber/treacle-glazed body features detailed black transfer scenes depicting English coaching life, including “A Morning Draught” and “The George & Vulture at Tottenham.” An ornate molded handle and spout, fitted lid and rich graduated brown-to-amber glaze give this substantial piece excellent display presence.

Good antique condition with overall age-related crazing to the glaze, along with light surface and finish wear consistent with age. The black transfer decoration remains strong and detailed. The lid is present and fits properly. No chips or cracks noted.
