Description and Condition
Antique Ridgways English pottery pitcher from the “Scenes from Coaching Days & Coaching Ways” series, decorated with black transfer scenes against a rich amber-brown glaze. One side depicts “The Broken Trace,” with figures attending to horses, while the reverse shows “The Bell at Edmonton.” The pitcher is finished with a striking silver-luster handle, upper rim and lower border.

Good antique condition with overall age-related crazing to the glaze and expected surface wear. The silver-luster trim shows wear, light scratching and areas of tarnishing consistent with age. The black transfer decoration remains strong and detailed. No chips or cracks noted.
