Ridgways Coaching Days & Ways 10" Pitcher Silver Luster England Antique

Antique Ridgways English pottery pitcher from the “Scenes from Coaching Days & Coaching Ways” series. This impressive 10" tall example features a rich amber-brown glaze with detailed black transfer scenes titled “In a Snow Drift” and “Paying Toll.” The tall architectural form is finished with an ornate raised scrollwork base and striking silver-luster trim around the rim and handle.

Very good antique condition with fine overall crazing consistent with age and light surface wear. The black transfer decoration remains strong and well defined, and the silver-luster trim is particularly well preserved. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
