Ridgways Coaching Days & Ways Silver Luster Pitcher 7 1/2" England Antique 1900s

Antique Ridgways English pottery pitcher from the “Scenes from Coaching Days & Coaching Ways” series, decorated in a rich amber-orange glaze with black transfer scenes and striking silver-luster trim. The pitcher features “An Alarm by the Guard” on one side and “The Green Man at Waltham” on the reverse. The tall tapered form, large handle and extensive silver-luster rim, handle and foot make this an especially attractive display piece from the series.

Good antique condition with overall crazing and normal surface wear consistent with age. The silver-luster decoration shows age-related wear, spotting and surface marks, particularly around the rim and lower edge. The transfer decoration remains detailed and attractive. No chips, cracks or repairs noted.
