Description and Condition
Antique Ridgways English pottery teapot from the “Scenes from Coaching Days & Coaching Ways” series. The warm amber glaze is decorated with detailed black transfer scenes, including “Henry the Eighth and the Abbot of Reading” and “The Bell, Barnaborn.” Silver-luster accents finish the handle, spout, lid rim and opening, giving this early English teapot a particularly attractive period appearance.

Good antique condition with extensive overall crazing consistent with age. There is age-related wear and tarnishing to the silver-luster trim, along with normal surface and glaze wear. The transfer decoration remains well defined. No chips, cracks or repairs noted. Lid is included.
