Theo Haviland Pink Roses Cobalt Gold 8 1/2" Salad Plate Antique c.1895

Elegant antique Theodore Haviland Limoges porcelain salad plate, produced in Limoges, France around the turn of the 20th century. The plate features delicate sprays and garlands of pink roses with soft green foliage on a white porcelain center, surrounded by a rich cobalt blue border embellished with ornate gold scrollwork.

The gently scalloped rim is finished with additional gold trim, giving the piece a refined late-Victorian / Belle Époque appearance. The combination of deep cobalt, delicate roses and elaborate gilding makes this a particularly decorative example of early Theodore Haviland porcelain.
