Swirl fluted porcelain design with gold and crimson leaves, butterflies and flowers.
Ashley A. Vantine started trtade in Japan in the 1860's He was a retailer with shops in SanFrancisco and NYC.
Mark: Crossed Imperial Chinese and Japanese flags with the Turkish crescent moon and star in-between, referring to Mr AA Vantines business relations with these three countries.
Sugar bowl is 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"
Creamer is 4 1/2" H x 3 1/2" OD
Excellent condition. Only light gold wear.
