A richly detailed signed and numbered Judaica artwork titled “Slavery to Freedom". Depicts the biblical Exodus from Egypt and the journey of the Jewish people toward freedom and the Promised Land.
The composition is filled with symbolic imagery: the Ten Commandments, Mount Sinai, the Israelites leaving Egypt, Egyptian pyramids, Jerusalem, abundant vegetation and Hebrew inscriptions. Across the top is the Hebrew phrase “מעבדות לחרות” (Me’avdut Le’Herut), meaning “From Slavery to Freedom.”
The lower margin is hand titled “Slavery To Freedom,” numbered 44/350 at lower left and signed in pencil at lower right. The work also appears to incorporate embossed Hebrew lettering and metallic/foil accents, giving the composition additional texture and visual depth.
