Jacob Petit Old Paris Floral Turquoise Gilt 5 7/8" Plate Antique c.1850

Beautiful antique Jacob Petit Old Paris porcelain decorative plate, dating to approximately the mid-19th century. The plate features a striking turquoise-blue ground surrounding a shaped white reserve filled with a finely hand-painted bouquet of roses and colorful garden flowers. Elaborate raised and painted gilt floral scrollwork frames the central decoration and continues around the scalloped rim.
