She traveled to Spain in 1994, where she obtained a scholarship to take an engraving workshop in Andalusia. After traveling around Europe, she settled in Paris for four years, where she completed a postgraduate degree at Saint Charles, Paris. Upon her return to Chile in 1998, she took part in the San Ignacio Workshop.
