Zur Geschichte der Kostüme* (The History of Costume) is a famous collection of historical clothing. It was published between 1861 and 1880 by the Munich-based publishing house Braun & Schneider. The prints first appeared in the magazine *Münchener Bilderbogen* and depict around 500 historical and folk costumes ranging from antiquity to the late 19th century.
